INTER MIA

A roller coaster of emotions

By Silvina Fuentes & Cristhian Gassmann

As a spectator and supporter of Inter Miami, experiencing this stage of the team's career has been a roller coaster of emotions. Through Miamix's media coverage, with Silvina Fuentes and Cristhian Gassmann, we were able to feel the pulse of each match, the unwavering support of the fans, and the excitement ignited by every goal.

The match against Jamaica's Cavaliers was one of those games where the atmosphere was festive, the stadium buzzing, and everything seemed to be going in Inter's favor. The team won clearly, and the atmosphere was optimistic. The fans, many of them carrying flags, personalized jerseys, and even shed tears of emotion, experienced a magical day that reinforced their connection with the team.

And then came that decisive match in the CONCACAF semifinal. The team came out determined, and the first half was a testament to what this group is capable of achieving: they were leading 1-0 and the atmosphere was full of hope. It seemed like the impossible could happen. But the second half was a different story, and a place in the final remained out of reach.

But football also has its harsh side. In the next MLS match, Inter came in with high morale and a 3-1 lead, promising a solid victory. However, the story changed: the match was lost. Despite the setback, the fans responded with admirable enthusiasm, cheering on the team and looking ahead to the next Concacaf match.

Mascherano, the players, and the coaching staff remained calm, knowing that you don't always win, but that every defeat offers lessons. The squad is already thinking about upcoming tournaments and how to rebuild this history with new chapters of glory.

Messi's team's season has been a true roller coaster. After the tough semifinal exit from the Concacaf Champions Cup at the hands of the Vancouver Whitecaps, and the previous defeat against FC Dallas in the MLS, Inter Miami responded with authority: they thrashed the New York Red Bulls 4-1 at home, showing character and regaining ground in the standings. With this result, the team sits in fourth place in the Eastern Conference, with one game in hand on several of its direct competitors. Because that's football: one day you're down, and the next you're back on track. Inter Miami is no exception.
